Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday ruled out forming any electoral alliance with Congress party in the coming elections.

Reacting to the comments of Congress leader Digvijay Singh who suggested that TRS leaders will join Congress, he said that it is clear whether TRS leaders will come to Congress or vice-a-versa. Those who sacrificed lives for separate Telangana State have blamed the Congress leaders in their suicide notes, reminded Chandrasekhar Rao.

Speaking to the media at Telangana Bhavan, KCR said that the job of TRS party is not over by achieving separate Telangana State. The party dropped the merger issue only on the collective decision of the party leaders.

He said that when many people were dying for formation of Telangana state, he offered to merge the party with Congress. The birth of agitation is only for water, funds and job openings as nearly 80 percent of the employees in the Secretariat are from Seemandhra. As many as 59,000 employees are in Telangana are from Seemandhra region which was confirmed way back during the rule of NT Rama Rao. GOs were issued during the tenure of former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao but were not materialised, said Chandrasekhar Rao.

The TRS chief ridiculed the Congress' offer of tickets to the kith and kin of families who laid their lives for Telangana State.
