Nizamabad MP Madhu Goud Yaskhi lashed out against Konda couple terming them as betrayers of Telangana. He said that it is shameful that Konda Surekha and Konda Murali joined TRS. Yaskhi predicted that they will go back to Jagan Mohan Reddy once the elections are over.


Governor ESL Narasimhan will review the progress of the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh tomorrow. A decision on Secretariat, Assembly and government offices for both Telangana state and residual Andhra Pradesh is likely to be taken tomorrow.


TRS politburo member Nayani Narasimha Reddy said that the control of Telangana state would be in the hands of leaders in Delhi if Congress manages to win the Assembly elections. He urged the people to vote for TRS party so that they the people of the State can have control.


Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Ponnala Lakshmaiah has met with Congress leaders in Adilabad district. They have discussed the coming general and mandal parishad elections. Congress party is going all out to strengthen the party in Telangana state.


Telugu Desam Party senior leader in Mahabubnagar district P Ramulu has clarified that he would continue with the party. He denied media reports that he is contemplating of shifting to the Congress party.


CPM state secretary BV Raghavulu said that they are ready to form an alliance with TRS if the later doesn't join hands with Congress and BJP in the coming elections.


BJP national leader Prakash Javedkar said that they would certainly join hands with Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan. He said that several parties are aspiring to join BJP to throw away the regime of Congress at the Centre. He confirmed that negotiations with TDP are going on.


AICC chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi would tour in Telangana soon. The party is planning public meetings in Hyderabad, Warangal and Adilabad districts between March 24 and 29.


TRS secretary general K Keshava Rao made it clear that the Telangana revolution would not stop until the Telangana region is re-constructed. He said despite achieving separate statehood, the problems in the region still remain. He said that Telangana people have been cheated for their jobs.


TDP Telangana forum leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao condemned the rumors that he might quit the party. He said that he would contest the Assembly elections from Palakurthi constituency in Warangal district on TDP ticket.


Congress to give tickets to sitting members to contest elections
Telangana Congress would begin a bus yatra in the first week of April. Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah told media that the party would give tickets to all the sitting candidates in the coming elections. The party would recognize and honor those who fought for separate Telangana state. The screening committee would review the candidate who are aspiring to contest the coming elections on behalf of the party.


AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi accused Congress and TDP parties to be anti-minorities. He said that MIM has not yet formed an alliance with any party for the coming elections. He said the party would create history in the coming elections.


Talasani Srinivas YadavTDP leader Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that the party leadership would decide on the TDP CM candidate for the Telangana state. He said that they would abide by the decision of the party leadership. Announcement of party candidates will be done only after discussions with BJP conclude, he said.


Union Minister Jairam Ramesh will tour in Mahbubnagar and Hyderabad districts today. He will participate in a party meeting convened by Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao. AICC SC cell president Koppula Raju, TPCC working committee president N Uttam Kumar Reddy will also attend. Jairam Ramesh is also scheduled to meet Telangana JAC leaders in the evening.


Election Commission will organize a media workshop at Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad. EC officials will meet with editors of various news papers and media. They will discuss about paid news and election code in the workshop.


A technical problem has stalled power production at Kakatiya Thermal Power Plant in Cherpuru of Warangal district. Power production worth 500 MW has been stalled.


Admissions at Kendriya Vidyalaya - 2 School at Uppal, Hyderabad have been stopped for the academic year 2014-15. The school was set up in 1990 in partnership with Survey of India, Habsiguda. According to the agreement, Survey of India has to bear operation costs every year. According to sources, Survey of India has defaulted payments since the last two years forcing Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) to stop admissions. The dues now amount to over Rs. 40 lakhs.


A four-year old girl died after an ASI allegedly stepped on the girl while she was sleeping. The ASI went to the victim's house at Habshipur in Dubbak mandal of Medak district to resolve a land grabbing case. The girl was admitted to the hospital and died while undergoing treatment. Relatives of the girl along with other villagers staged a protest in front of the police station claiming that the ASI was responsible for the girl's death.


A paper plate shop was burnt because of a short circuit at Rajaampura in Goshamahal, Hyderabad.


Liquor worth Rs. 28 lakhs was seized by the police from a lorry at Madhira checkpost in Khammam.
