TRS chief KCR to contest Gajwel Assembly constituency

Babu Mohan announced that he will quit Telugu Desam Party. He is likely to join TRS and contest against Congress leader Damodar Rajanarasimha.


Choppadandi MLA Suddala Devaiah is likely to join Congress party. The TDP MLA is holding consultations with his supporters and is likely to join Congress in a couple of days.


KCR to contest from Gazwel Assembly constituency
Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief K Chandrasekhar Rao announced that he would contest from Gajwel Assembly constituency in Medak district. Speaking to media at party headquarters in Telangana Bhavan, KCR presented the open letter addressed to Governor on the illegal irrigation projects in Telangana.


Telugu Desam Party leader and film actor Babu Mohan has announced that he has quit the party. Speaking to media in Medak, he said that he has not made up his mind yet on which party to join. According to sources, Babu Mohan tendered his resignation to the party because of the attitude of Zahirabad TDP leader Madan Mohan Rao.


Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu said that both the Telugu states is not in a state for need of re-development, but actual development. He spoke at APJF 'Meet the People' programme. Chandrababu said that TDP is the only party that can lead the State in these tiring circumstances.


AICC screening committee will meet again today in Delhi to decide on the party's candidates for the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections. The screening committee will meet Telangana leaders D Srinivas, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, D Sridhar Babu and Danam Nagender for their views.


TRS leader Cheruku Sudhakar met TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu today. Speaking to presspersons later, he said that the visit was casual and has no political significance. Sudhakar said that he thanked Chandrababu for giving preference to candidates from Backward castes for the elections. He urged the rest of the political parties to give preference to candidates from backward castes.
