Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan eyes GHMC elections

After thunderous success in the recently concluded elections over extending support to the BJP and its ally Telugu Desam Party, Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan is planning to build his party and is eyeing the coming Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections.

The term of the GHMC will come to an end by the year end. Hyderabad being the common capital for both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for the next ten years to come, all the political parties wants to have a representation in it.

Jana Sena party (JSP) according to sources will field its candidates in the GHMC elections. It is yet to be clear whether he will field candidates of his own or an alliance with BJP-TDP-JSP alliance. The TRS could increase its base from 4.6 per cent to 19.62 per cent in the recently concluded elections while YSRCP will not no stone unturned for the upcoming elections. TDP

Greater Hyderabad president Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that GHMC voters will give complete majority to TDP-BJP alliance in the polls too.
