Congress leaders, Unemployed youth and OU students have alleged that a big scam happened in Singareni. They alleged that the jobs for the posts of junior assistants have been sold out and that the question papers were leaked. OU JAC chairman Manvata Roy alleged that TRS MP K Kavitha was also involved in the scam and demanded a CBI enquiry. Kavitha has denied the allegations and termed it silly politics. The chairman and managing director of Singareni, N Sridhar, also brushed aside the allegations and said an enquiry would be conducted if a candidate comes up with concrete proof.

Deputy Chief Minister M Mahmood Ali said the Telangana Government will take up the issue of permitting 12 per cent reservation for minorities in Education and employment with Centre. The TS government will submit the Sudhir Committee report which delved into the issue at length. Minorities in Telangana currently enjoy a four per cent reservation in education and employment.

The Chairman of Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) Court of Governors' SM Datta has submitted his resignation citing personal reasons. The court of governors will meet on November 21 to take a final decision on the resignation and elect a new chairperson.
