2014 Adilabad Lok Sabha Elections

The 2014 Adilabad (ST) Lok Sabha Elections was held on April 30, 2014. The counting of polls was taken up on May 16, 2014. The constituency is reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes. Ramesh Rathod belonging to Telugu Desam party was the sitting MP of Adilabad Lok Sabha constituency.

Godam Nagesh of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi has won the Adilabad Lok Sabha seat defeating his nearest Congress rival Naresh by a margin of 1,71,290 votes.

TDP sitting MP Ramesh Rathod has filed his nomination to contest Adilabad Lok Sabha constituency on 3 April 2014. He also filed nomination to contest Asifabad Assembly constituency on Wednesday, the first day for filing nominations.
