Gampa Govardhan
Gampa Govardhan is a politician of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi. He won the 2012 bypoll of the Kamareddy constituency by a margin of 44,465 votes.
On September 29, 2011, Govardhan has quit the Telugu Desam Party to join the TRS party. On 28 November 2011, the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar Reddy has accepted his resignation.
2012 by-poll
Gampa Govardhan contested the Kamareddy bye-election on TRS ticket. He received 75,699 votes and defeated his nearest congress rival Adla Raja Reddy by a margin of 44,465 votes.
