Medak DSP Nalini resigns on Wednesday
The DSP of Medak Town, D Nalini put in her papers on Wednesday to support the cause of separate Telangana. She went to the DIG's office Hyderabad and submitted her resignation to the authorities concerned. It may be noted that she belongs to 2007 batch of Group I services was posted in Medak in five months ago but was on leave for the past three months due to health reasons.
Speaking to media persons, after tendering her resignation she said that in Hyderabad that she was unable to digest the attitude of police towards separate Telangana agitators. The weapons in the hands of police are supposed to be used against Naxalites and anti social elements and instead they are being used on agitators and that is the reason why she quits the post and joining the movement for the separate Telangana.
The Superintendent of Police M Kanta Rao, who held a press conference at 4.30pm pleaded ignorance about her resignation stating that he also saw it on the television. A few days ago, a police constable P Krishnaiah working in Machareddy police station in Nizamabad district had quit in support of the agitation.
