TRS demands immediate introduction of Bill in Parliament
Firmly of the opinion that the Centre's response to their agitation for a separate State was a hard won victory, the TRS appeared to have toughened its stand by demanding introduction of a Bill in Parliament for separate Telangana at the earliest. TRS president KCR who is slowly recovering from the after affects of his 11 days hunger strike, was closeted in his room at the NIMS for the whole of Thursday.
The only time he appeared in public view was when he was wheeled out in the afternoon for a few minutes. He refused to accede to the request of the large media contingent and did not talk. Instead, the TRS president just waved for the benefit of the camera and stood up for a minute before taken back to room. TRS MLA T Harish Rao declined to answer questions following the TRS's reported decision to refrain from making any statements for a day or two.
