Revanth Reddy removed from the party posts – questions motives behind the action

October 26, 2017

T-TDP MLA A.Revanth Reddy who was removed from the posts of the party’s working president and Floor leader in the Assembly questioned the motives behind the party State leadership’s decision in the absence of the party president N.Chandrababu Naidu.

Revanth Reddy came to the Assembly on Thursday. He was closeted with some leaders in his chambers. He was welcomed by senior Congress leaders when he was on his way to the room earmarked for the leader of the TDP Legislature Party. He ensured that he did not occupy the chair meant for the Legislature Party Leader during his stay in the Assembly.

He was upset over the decision to strip him of the posts and wanted to know the reasons behind the announcement when Chandrababu was away from the country. ‘I had been fighting against the TRS and cases were foisted against me. It is surprising to see some party leaders speak in support of the TRS president who is harassing the TDP and its cadre’, he said.
